The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) students of Sielmat Bible College have successfully completed their thesis proposal presentations as part of their academic programme.
Of the 11 M.Div. students in the current cohort, five will proceed with thesis writing. Their proposed areas of research cover a range of subjects, with most of the topics focusing on missions, theology, Christian ethics, and leadership.
Thesis writing constitutes six credit hours of the M.Div. programme and is an important component of the students’ academic formation. The students have been given a period of four months to complete their theses, with a maximum limit of 10,000 words.
The completion of the proposal presentations marks an important milestone as the students move into the research and writing stage of their academic work. Through their studies, the students are expected to engage critically with their chosen subjects and contribute to the wider understanding of issues relevant to Christian ministry and theological education.
