Sielmat, June 12, 2026 — In observance of World Blood Donor Day, students and staff of Sielmat Bible College participated in a voluntary blood donation program at the District Hospital on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Although World Blood Donor Day is officially observed on June 14 each year, this year’s commemoration falls on a Sunday. Since many students will be engaged in their practical ministry assignments and church activities on that day, the college organized the blood donation drive in advance.
The program was conducted in cooperation with the District Hospital’s blood bank team. Students willingly came forward to donate blood, recognizing the vital role that voluntary blood donors play in saving lives and supporting healthcare services. The initiative reflects the college’s commitment not only to theological education but also to serving the community through acts of compassion and social responsibility.
The college administration expressed gratitude to all participating students, staff members, and the medical personnel who facilitated the event. Through this simple yet meaningful act, the Sielmat Bible College family sought to demonstrate Christian love in action by helping meet the ongoing need for safe blood supplies.
“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” — 1 John 3:16 (NKJV)
