Program Overview
The Master of Divinity (MDiv) is a three-year graduate-level program introduced in 2020 and accredited in 2022. It provides in-depth theological training for advanced leadership, cross-cultural missions, and further academic pursuits. A two-year pathway is also available for qualified students.
Accreditation
This program is accredited by the Asia Theological Association (ATA).
Eligibility Criteria
- Successful completion of Class X & XII or equivalents, along with any UGC-recognized university UG degree OR an ATA/SCC-accredited B.Th. degree.
- Candidates with unrecognized B.Th. degrees must pass a qualifying exam (Biblical Studies, Theology, Christian Ministry) set at the final-year B.Th. level.
- Provisional Admission: Candidates awaiting final BA/BSc/BCom results may be admitted provisionally.
- Mature Candidates: Applicants aged 30 years or older without a Bachelor’s degree may be admitted after passing a qualifying assessment. Mature candidates shall not exceed 10% of any class/batch.
- Advanced Credit: Up to 10 subjects of advanced credit toward the MDiv may be granted to B.Th. graduates with a ‘B’ grade average or higher.
