Biblical education designed to fit around ministry and everyday work.
THE COLLEGE'S JOURNEY
A new extension pathway for local church leaders
Sielmat Bible College (SBC) was established on 1 April 1980. Over the 46 years since its establishment, 686 students have enrolled and 642 have graduated. Graduates have served as pastors in the ICI Church and other church groups, missionaries, teachers, and in other forms of ministry, including outside India.
Following a review of its ministry in 2025, SBC identified the need to make theological study available to important local church and presbytery leaders who may not be able to attend a residential theological college. The ICI 176th Executive Council, in Resolution 6, permitted SBC to begin a Theological Extension Program, with follow-up by the SBC Board. The program is planned to begin in 2027.
