We require students to have the following:
- Candidates must have a definite salvation experience.
- He/she must have a call of God for Christian Ministry.
- He/she must be able to speak and write English fluently.
- He/she must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations for B. Th.
In order to pass a subject, a student must pass both the class work and the final examination. Class work and internal assessment is given 40& and final examination 60% marks. (20% and final examination 80%)
The College’s Academic Year is divided into two semesters. The First Semester begins from June/July and ends in October; the Second Semester begins in November and ends in March end.
Regarding practical ministries, we give importance to four of them, guided by the Dean of Practical Ministry:
- Weekend Ministry: Students are required to visit hospitals, schools, other outlying villages, and also specifically the Bethesda College of Nursing, Gospel for India, and Mount Carmel High School every weekend.
- Outreach Ministry: Students are also organised to go out and share their faith and message to serve people in hospitals, nursing schools, village Sunday schools, rehabilitation centres, local churches and various other places from time to time.
- Practical Works: Every student is required to go for practical ministry or field-work during their winter and summer breaks under the guidance of their local churches or some other supervisor arranged by the Dean of Practical Ministry. When students return from their vacation, they are required to bring their ministry report duly countersigned by their supervisor.
- Gospel Tour: The College conducts gospel tours from time to time to visit some states and villages within and outside Manipur state.
- Outreach Ministry: Students are also organised to go out and share their faith and message to serve people in hospitals, nursing schools, village Sunday schools, rehabilitation centres, local churches and various other places from time to time.
